As spring approaches, it’s hard to believe it has been nearly 6 months since our fall conference in Dearborn, MI. Thank you to all that made this conference a success! Please check out the photos in the conference album in the photo library under the resource menu. The scholarship and award winners can be found on the website as well.
Planning is underway for another fabulous fall conference. Registration is now open for the Wild and Wonderful Wound Ostomy Continence Care Conference held at the Morgantown Marriott at Waterfront Place, September 13-15, 2018. Dynamic speakers and fun activities are planned.
Meanwhile, please join us in Philadelphia for the 50th annual WOCN conference. The Mideast Region membership meeting will be held Sunday, June 3 from 7am to 8am at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown and will include a breakfast buffet.
Watch your email boxes for the MER electronic newsletter coming soon. As we move forward, we would like you to submit information to share. For instance, do you have a local group of WOC nurses who meet regularly and would like to post the meeting place and time to gain new members? Are you or someone you know engaging in research? Have you engaged in any new projects or are holding a local conference? Please tell us a little about it and we will post in the next newsletter.
Please consider nominating a colleague for one of our awards – all listed here on the website. Application is easy with the links provided. Do you have a favorite manufacturer’s rep? Give them the recognition they deserve by nominating for Manufacturer of the Year.
